The church of St. Martin de Porres at Carleton is chapel of ease within the parish of St. John’s at Poulton le Fylde. St Martin’s works very closely with their neighbours at the Church of England parish of St Hilda of Whitby. The Banner was completed back in September of 1998, and the two communities have been building on the spirit behind that image ever since. A booklet is available telling the story behind the banner and helping people to study it.
