Burying the Time Capsule
Burying the Time Capsule, left to right: Janette Moore, Susanne Seldon, Bob Williams, June Morton, Lesley Bosworth, Joy Bosworth (Chair BAF), Cllr Simon Blackburn, with time capsule.

Members of Blackpool Action Force (the town Fairtrade group) buried a time capsule in the garden of the newly restored Solaris centre on South Promenade in Blackpool. This was during the first ever Totally Transport festival held on 26 June 2005. In the time capsule were: a white band, MPH leaflets, CAFOD CD Rom, Christian Aid video along with Fairtrade Foundation literature, a Traidcraft catalogue, Co-op chocolate wrapper (all of their own brand choc, as is their own coffee, being Fairtrade), Blackpool Action Force leaflet and a selection of photos taken at BAF events also the latest edition of The Voice because it covered MPH so eloquently.
