TRIBUTE TO BROTHER THOMAS GRAVES
The Photograph shows Brother Tom, on the right together with Brother Brendan O'Donnell being presented earlier this year with their Special Merit Awards for their loyal and dedicated service to the Knights of St Columba.
A few months ago Brother Tom Graves passed away. Brother Tom was a loyal member of the Knights of St Columba who was renowned for his dedication and commitment to maintaining the gardens in Our Lady's Grotto at Cleator. Brother Tom was always willing to take Office within the KSC and accompanied many brothers on journeys to other Council events. Tom was a great believer in the traditions of the traditions of which the Knights of St Columba are so proud.
A FIRST FOR CUMBRIA
Congratulations go to Brother John Doran of Council 74 - Province 6 Cumbria who was elected at the recently held Supreme Council in Glasgow as the Order's Supreme Knight for the coming year. This is a tremendous honour for Brother John who has worked his way steadily through the various KSC Offices to this highest Office. His election is a fitting reward for his commitment to Catholic Action. We wish John every success as he takes up this important role.
