Bishops

ALL THEY ARE ASKING IS,
TELL US THE TRUTH

How will they know unless they hear, and how shall they hear unless YOU speak?

Marriage Last February, our Bishops said they wanted to hear from all the Catholic people of this land on the subject of Marriage and the Family. Our Bishops are our leaders, but they cannot lead as the Lord wishes unless we offer them the truth in our hearts, so for pity sake let us speak, and speak NOW.

Thousands of leaflets have gone out through the churches of this diocese, asking simple, honest questions. Less than thirty have so far been returned. Our replies should be with the Bishop before July 31st. You can reply in any of four different ways. You can send replies direct to Bishop Patrick, you can use the columns of this Paper, you can send your comments as part of your local parish group or you can use the Marriage & Family life web site. Let's not let these good men down. We need their leadership; they need our truth. Only we can give it. Let's speak so that they can hear. If there is something the Bishops need to know about Marriage and family life and you can tell them, then you must speak up, NOW. You will find all you need to know about this project in the articles Listening 2004 and Marriage And The Family.
