Boomerang Time

Anne Kennedy If you don't recognise the lady cuddling the Koala Bear, you have probably not been young during the last twenty one years. For all of that time, Anne Kennedy has been working with and for the yong people of our diocese. Now she is leaving, going "down under," to live in Australia. All Voice readers will wish her well. In a feature here, Anne reflects in those twenty one years and leaves us plenty to think about as she waves us good-bye. But first, here's an invitation:

Mass of Thanksgiving:
On Saturday 13th September there will be a Mass of thanksgiving at 12.15pm in the Cathedral in Lancaster. This gives Anne the opportunity to thank God and all who supported her personally during that time. She is looking forward to meeting everyone and saying a final goodbye to people, some of whom will have known her well over a very long time. Before the Mass there will be a short music practice at 12 noon and Mass will begin promptly at 12.15pm. Those who would like to be part of a music group please contact shaunbaldwin64@hotmail.com or via 07720 722263. Light refreshments will be available afterwards in the Cathedral Social Centre. To assist with catering numbers would be appreciated in advance. Please leave a message on the new Youth Office number (from Sept 1st) 01772 200148 or via e-mail to LancasterDYS@aol.co.uk
